COMMUNITY OUTREACH
While the American Documentary and Animation Film Festival (AmDocs) itself is held annually each Spring, our mission is one that serves the area full-time, year-round. We carry out a variety of screenings (both indoor and outdoor), education efforts, and community outreach activities, throughout the year to benefit the Coachella Valley film, school, and arts communities. These activities take several forms:
-
Seminars and panels during our annual Film Festival
-
Monthly highlight screenings between April and November annually
-
Free monthly screenings at Coachella Valley senior centers
-
Periodic special events in conjunction with area community organizations
-
Ongoing collaboration with area primary and secondary educational institutions
-
Other special events and celebrations of documentary film
